First Certification Attained

As of 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, May 1, I am a Microsoft Certified Professional. This is the first of many certifications that will yield the title of Microsoft Certified System Engineer. On Tuesday, I was tested on “Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional” and passed with flying colors. Of course, I have been installing, configuring and administering XP (Professional and Home) since the OS was released. I guess it’d look pretty bad had I not passed!
I have now begun training in “Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment” and am heading to TechSkills later this morning to work on some of the labs in the course.
